Description: Castor Flakes are a derivative of Castor Oil. They are heavily used in the cosmetic industry when a waxy component is needed in a formulation. Examples include eyeliner pencils, anti-perspirant sticks, and lipsticks. Castor Flakes are also used in the making of liquid soaps. As with all manufacturing processes, we recommend lab scale trials in order to determine appropriate quantities.
