Botanical Name: Oenothera fiennis
Extraction Method: Cold Pressed

Description: Evening Primrose contains high levels of GLA essential fatty acids and is good for dry and mature skin. It also Soothes inflammation and can be used in dandruff applications. Small amounts are often added to other carrier oils for fortification.

Color: Medium Yellow

Aromatic Description: Evening primrose has a very slight, sweet scent but remains characteristic of most carrier oils

Common Uses: Evening Primrose is used in manufacturing and in dilution with other carrier oils suitable for massage.

Consistency: Typical and Characteristic of Carrier Oils.

Absorption: Evening Primrose will leave a very oily feeling on skin.

Shelf life: Evening Primrose oil is quick to go rancid; users can expect a shelf life of 3 to 6 Months with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration after opening is recommended.
