In a previous thread..someone had mentioned the need for a 'save order' button....which is a great idea. i often check your site for items i require & i've had instances where (for whatever reason) my internet browser has crashed after i've listed 2 pages worth of items that I then had to enter in all over again (on one occassion it occurred 3 times! - I won't tell you how angry I was :). It would also be really handy to accumulate an order over a period of time, rather than order in dribs & drabs.....saving the freight cost.

Also....with the bottle section of your website...it would be fantastic if on each individual bottle page, there was a list of caps, lids, atomisers,etc applicable to that bottle type - (it minimises the possibility of accidentally selecting the wrong size cap,etc), or having to have 2 browsers open, in order to flip from one page to the other.....which is annoying.

Also...sorry (I'm on a roll here)....it would be great if there was a section on your page indicating "what's new"....ie: in another thread, you previously mentioned that you were upgrading your site (to include the save order function & a rough timeframe of when this would occur). As I often check your site for 'what's new'...it'd be really handy to know whether anything has changed recently (from week to week or mth to mth)...or when new functionality becomes available....or if new recipes have been added, etc,etc.
Being a heavy user of the site....I know these things would greatly benefit me.....but I think these things would greatly improve usability for all. Many Thanks

Hi, I'm a big fan with frangance like Bvlgari "Petits Et Mamans Eau De Toilette Spray".which provides fresh and sweet scent of baby talc powder. such a funny scent.
I have found one in NDS frangance list which is called "Bady Fresh". Just curious to ask that is it scent samiliar as baby powder? Anyone try this before?
And how much for the shipment if I order 1 bottle 17ml oil and I base in Hong Kong . Many Thanks, Liz

I think a button should be added to your order site which allows you to save your order so you can add to it as you need to at later dates and then checkout when you are ready for it to be processed for delivery, just as you can do so when ordering your groceries online from supermarkets. I don't want to keep paying for freight charges for small orders so would rather add to my order as I run out of an item and then checkout when my order is substantial. I would also like to know the freight charges beforehand so a reply email from ND to inform of exact freight charges before is approved from me would be great. Other companies I've delt with actually charge freight on a dollar basis, i.e $6.00 for orders under $100. or free for orders over $100, inside Australia.

I'd like to inqure about the recipe regarding Retinol I bought from your company.

I know Retinol is acidic. I wonder if making a retinol lotion with with creagel (1-2% creagel, 0.05%/1 drop retinol, vitamin E 1 cap, 5-10ml base oil and fill the rest with distilled water to bring it to 100ml lotion) would mean a failed runny solution instead of lotion.

I'd like to make a retinol lotion with L-Absorbic C, B-5,Hyaluronic Acid and vitamin E. Will u pls. give me the recipe?

SUGGESTION for NEW PRODUCT
HI there, you have a great range and quality of products already - but I would like to suggest one more to add = Fractionated Coconut Oil.
This is different to the solid coconut oil you already carry - it's clear and liquid at room temperature, makes a great carrier oil, is a fairly low price, does not go rancid, dissolves all EOs etc.
Any chance you can stock it before too long?

Hi I have a question on your Organic Floral Water.
what's the differences between Organic Floral Water and Floral Water?
one is natural by-product of the distillation process ,another is just essential oilblend with water??
Esspecially for Witch Hazel , Neroil, Rose.

By the way could you please provide me the packaged weight for each of essetial oil 6ml & 12ml, base oil for 100ml and floral water for 1L.

I posted this question in a different catagory earlier (sorry) so then realised perhaps it should be posted here (more appropraite).

Would it at all be possible for New Directions Australia to consider stocking - SERUM, LOTION, and SPRAY/ATOMIZERS in an ALL METAL option= Metal neck with metal dispersing componant (same as the currant stock with metal neck but without the plastic disperser) in the Gold/Silver/Matt/Shiny? To fit the glass bottles that your current serum and atomizer componants fit.

Speaking from a visual perspective I have seen all metal serum + lotion and atomizers else where, and they do look 100% better in comparison, unfortunately it requires orders of a minimum 5,000 units per componant/product which is unsuitable for someone such as myself or anyone in a small business that requires only a very small quantity.

As an example: A Perfume sprayer (all metal) Which is the typical atomizer used with most perfumes on the market. Compared to a metal neck with plastic atomizer such as what is available at New Directions at the moment.

I hope New Directions will consider making available serum, lotion and atomizers with an all metal neck and disperser/atomizer without the plastic included.

If at all you are unsure as to what type of product's I have described you can leave me a message and I can give you a couple of manufacturer sites to view to assist you- but I am sure that your manufacturer of the current stock you purchase will be of better help and may even manufacture them anyway (perhaps)

P.S- Just want to take the opportunity to say that New Directions is an absolute blessing and I have always considered the service and staff to be excellent throughout my time being a customer =10/10!

i recently purchased jojoba oil and put it in the fridge for better storage but didnt realise this would turn the product into a wax substance. will the quality of the product now be altered if i take it out of the fridge and let it turn back into an oil?

One a suggestion I have is not have both the and 'City' and 'Suburb' fields compulsory in the address form - not everyone lives in a city or suburb and some live in neither! Perhaps you could combine: 'City/Suburb/Town', and have two lines for those who need to include both city and suburb names... It is a small issue, yes, but the only way I could have a valid address was by actually repeating the name of my town in both entries. Thank you!

I have enjoyed my first purchase experience and the friendly, professional feel of your whole company.

With regard to the website, may I suggest a few things?

* A lot of people have an issue with the total cost of purchasing including postage. Instead of having a 'confirm purchase' button, might it not be better to have a 'confirm quote' button so people do not feel they are committed to a purchase they may not be able to afford once the postage is added. Then when the invoice is sent to them with postage added, they can then approve the transaction if they wish.

* I have noticed a few items that have no information listed as to their use or properties. This has been annoying at times as I have had to do an internet search. Only a few minutes ago I purchased a pump for a bottle, but had no idea if I should purchase the sqaure or round shoulder. After adding it to my list I came to the forum and discovered I had ordered the wrong one. Could someone add such a detail to the item description? It would make it so much easier and worry free to know upfront if it is for the glass or plastic bottles.

Otherwise, this is an excellent website which I came by serendipitously. I look forward to much future successful shopping with you.

I've just received my items and am very happy with New Directions service. The items arrived intact and in good condition. I am looking forward to buying more items from you guys, but there are certain raw materials that you guys don't carry for people who are interested in making body sprays and perfumes. Might i suggest looking into carrying Denatured Alcohol, Fractionated Coconut oil and Cyclomethicone? Thanks for the great service!
