Hi, I make my own bath/shower gel but everytime I do it splits and becomes a liquid not a gel. Can anyone suggest something I can put into it to get back the bath gel consistency? Like a gum or something?

Thanks :o)

Rochelle
You may find that what you need is Xanthan gum, also known as corn sugar gum. It is used as a thickener, emulsifier and gelling agent. You will only need to use the smallest quantity, and i would suggest experimenting in order to get the right consistency.
