Hi there please can anybody out there let me know the best possible way to flavour unscented incense sticks. Thankyou Lee x

Lee
Hi Lee,
here is a recipe I use

YOU WILL NEED:

Unscented Incense Sticks (can purchase from New Directions)
Benzoin or Myrrh Tincture
Fragrance or Essential Oil (I prefer EO)
Wax Paper
Pipette
Blending Bottle
Drinking Glass

1. Pour the tincture into the blending bottle. Add up to 5% essential oil. For example 95mL tincture and 5mL of essential oil. Shake well.

2. Lay out the wax paper and place the incense stick on it. Fill the pipette and slowly dribble the blend over the incense stick, rotating the stick so that it is completely covered.

3. Stand in the glass to dry - usually a few hours.

Hints:
If you are doing a larger scale process use a tall thin beaker (or tall thin vase or clean wine bottle) and simply dip the stick into the tincture/fragrance blend.
Wait until completely dry before burning.

cheers & enjoy Kelli :)
