In particular, how to prepare it and how much to use? p.s. your site seems to be reeeaaally slow, even with broadband. Janine Posted: Thu Sep 15, 2005 9:15 AM   Couldn't wait for reply so I tried some of your violet soap/candle colour powder. For cold process soap: 5g in 1kg oils gives v dark blue. 1g in 1kg oils gives a light bluey green. Obviously meant for melt and pour soap. Seems to need to be dissolved in a little hot oil before addition to soap mixture. Janine Posted: Thu Sep 15, 2005 9:16 AM   Update re violet colour powder in cold process soap. Stronger batch colour now a deep, dark violet - looks cool. Weaker batch now a light blue colour with mottled purple - guess I didn't mix it well enough.
