Just wondering, how much zinc oxide do you suggest be used to be effective as a sunscreen, or offer sunscreen protection?
Thanks.

Hey Michelle,
It all depends on how much sunscreen your making. Generally speaking, you should use 2 tablespoons of zinc oxide if your planing to make a cup full of sunscreen.
Kind regards,

Thanks Belal,
I guess I wasn't clear with my question, what I really meant, was how much do I need to add to a moisturiser to give it UV protective properties, without it being a sunscreen?
Thanks.

Hey Michelle,
The same law applies to whichever base you wish to use for your sunscreen. Two tablespoons of zinc oxide should be mixed with an average cup full of moisturizer.
Remember if you have sensitive skin to always perform a skin patch test first before use.
Hopes this helps
King regards,
Belal
