Greetings. I emailed NewdirectionsUK the 4th of january with on response so far and that worries me so I things in mind:
1. Can I trust this company, has anyone ordered before?
2. Are the fragrance oils suitable for incense making?
3. Are the unscented incense sticks true to the product or are the pictures outdated? (are they 11", look like on the picture etc)
4. I also wonder if ND serve the wholesale community and what the minimum is?
5. I am located in Sweden, which website has the most inexpensive shipping costs?
Thank you in advance.

I have contacted New directions UK on your behalf, once i have a response from them i shall place it on the forum.
The fragrance oils are suitable for the incense sticks, if you have a look on the forum there have been some comments on the best way to make them. The pictures are not outdated for the sticks and we sell small quantities as well as large. The larger the quantity the better the price. I believe it will be cheaper to order from the UK branch as it is not as far to ship the products. I hope this has helped you so far. If New directions UK has anything more to add i shall post it at a later date.

Wow, im impressed by the fast reply. Although I wish I had a speedy reply on my queries made to the branch in the UK because that way I would have done my order days ago.
I'll definitly give it a shot once I get response simply because don't want to risk that my money gets stuck some place between a rock and a hard place. Ps. I wished they where as fast as you Jenna ;)

Dear Victor,
Just to keep you informed, i have heard back from the UK branch, and they tried to send you a reply, but it may have been lost along the way. They have tried again.

Jenna.
Thank you for your efforts. I recieved a reply from the UK branch a few hours ago. Your business looks promising, the customer services are off the meters and I'll definitly order and return many times.
I haven't yet tried your fragrance oils but if they are top quality as your customer services, you'll hear from me very soon.
Thanks again.

Hi Victor,
I've been a customer with New Directions Australia for just over a month now. I have found them to be very professional and helpful. Also, the items I have ordered, including essential oils have been of the highest quality as far as I can tell. I'm in the process of making a skin care range, so am only buying samll quantities at the moment for R&D purposes. Most of the stuff I buy is in the smaller sizes and usually 1 or 2 at most of each item. This hasn't been a problem at all, and I am left with the feeling that I wouldn't be treated any differently if I were ordering in large bulk.
I hope this is helpful to you.

Hi Victor
Like Michelle, my daughter and I are in the porcess of producing an aromatherapy health anl skin care range as well as setting up an aromatherapy massage business. We have been purchasing from New Directions for some months and found the staff adn the compnay very helpful - Jenna has been great to deal with on the phone and email replies have been very prompt and helpful. While I have no experience with the incence products the Pure Essential Oils and other base products have been excellent so far.
We have had no problems at all with deliveries or payments and I would encourage you to give the company your business.
I think that of all the various products we have purchased to date there has only been one disappointment which was the 3% frangipani in jojoba as I can detect no discernible aroma of frangipani at all. However as we can purchase such small quantities of each product to test out I only bought a 17 ml bottle and the cost was not great so next time I will purchase a tiny quantity of the full strength oil.
The new "hard copy" Catalogue is also beautiful and if you don't have a copy this is great to assist with ordering your product as you can read it anytime and make notes of your order without being online.
Good luck with your purchases Victor and feel confident that New Directions in Australia is a reputable company which provides excellent pre and post customer service.

Hello Joey, Mabuhay!!
You can learn a lot from just checking out the pages of this website, most of the items have descriptions about what goes into them. I also searched the net for other information on what goes into skin care and bought a couple of books on how to blend things. In the end it all comes down to just having a go. Just buy a few items and make something up, then check out your result.
Best of luck!
Michelle

Hi Joey in the Philippines
I agree - this is a good forum group as there are fast answers to questions. I have already had three responses to threads (including this one) so feel that there really are people out there who are interested in making great products.
What sort of mixtures have you been making? I find if I am mixing solid ingredients like shea butter and beeswax with liquid ingredients like almond oil it is good to use a proper thermometre to get the temperatures right before I mix the melted products with the other liquids - we have made some really yummy lip balms this way.
Good luck with your mixing!
Annette
