I believe that essential oils are very effective in creams and lotions because they absorb through the skin, can anyone tell me whether essential oils are beneficial in any way in home made soap that gets rinsed off rather than left on or rubbed into the skin to absorb.
Thanks
Deb

Hi Debra,
There are many essential oils that have antibacterial, antimicrobial, cleansing and exfoliating properties. The scent of the essential oils are also beneficial for lifting your spirits, cleansing the mind and clearing your nasal passages.
Enjoy your day!
