I have a house dog and am looking for an essential oil blend that I can make to take away that "doggy" smell from my house

Lauren
Hi Lauren,
There are many essential oils that can be used. Deodorising essential oils such as vanilla, lemon and geranium are great, blended or on their own.

There are disinfecting oils that will work well, such as cinnamon, clove, eucalyptus, lavender, lemongrass and ylang ylang.

We have essential oil blends on page 31 of our catalogue. Aphrodisiac,
meditation, relaxation and stress relief, which are all suitable blends.

In our organic Soul healing oils range on page 15, Lotus, magnolia and
sunrise blends would work well.

Peppermint is a refreshing scent and deters fleas and insects and can be used on it's own or with lavender.

I would suggest coming into our showroom or into a health food store with this list and choose what scent appeals to you most.

A nice blend you can try is:

5 drops lavender
4 drops lemon
3 drops grapefruit
3 drops lemongrass

This blend is for a large area, so you can half it or mix these oils to change the scent.

Use lemongrass only when you want a lively atmosphere, not in the evening when you want to relax.

I hope this helps.
