Hi,
I was reading an earlier post about you using a preservative called Methylisothiazolinone in your floral waters. I was wondering if the certified organic floral waters have it in them aswell. Have been doing a little research of it on the net and it doesn't sound too good. Thanks, Christie.

Any preservatives we use is between 0%-0.04%, this is a very minute amount, i understand your concern, if we had a completely natural alternative that prevented microbial growth to the same extent we would. Floral waters oxidise very readily, therefore can only last up to a few months, the use of preservatives is a dilema that any company has to make do we not use them and only stock small quantities at a time, and losing many customers as the expiry date is too soon and the cost too high, or do we stock larger quantities, decrease the price for our customers and increase the shelf life. We understand that some of our customers will not be happy with this, if that is the case, call me at new directions and i shall see if i can provide some alternatives.
