hello, I'd like to make a face cream for people with oily skin. Some of the carrier oils I am considering using are grapeseed, jojoba, hazlenut, fractionated coconut. Do you think that's ok or do you have any other suggestions. Which E/O's would be good to add. Do you have any products I could add to help to help cut the oilyness of the cream
many thanks Caroline

Hi Caroline,
I would not recommend using the coconut carrier oil. We have listed a selection of suggested essential oils for different skin types on the website under unscented moisturising base.

Go to wellbeing, then botanical skin care bases, then enscented moisturiser and you will find the list.

More water, less oil is the solution to a lighter more hydrating cream. Vegetable glycerine is added to moisturise without oil.
Enjoy your product making.
